PROJECT ARCHITECT / MANAGER

Summary and responsibilities

Member of the team of professional architects qualified to execute all phases of the project, from the schematic design to the construction documents. This individual should be self-directed in producing design work and willing to collaborate in the design process with other team members and clients. The candidate must be able to understand the technical aspects of a project and carry out the development of construction drawings including coordination with consulting engineers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. This person should also have exceptional organizational and time management skills. The candidate must be able to supervise and guide the work of other members of the support team throughout the different phases of the project. This position requires knowledge and experience in Florida building code. Construction administration phase experience is preferred but not essential. The candidate must be willing to learn or further develop their skills and experience in this phase of the project. This person should ideally have experience using 3D software in the design process.

Qualifications

bachelor of architecture

Florida Registered Architect or ability to register

7 to 15 years of experience in commercial and residential projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft programs, Adobe Acrobat Pro

Experience in SketchUp, Photoshop, 3ds Max
