Based in London and Brussels with 16 offices worldwide and 300 employees. [Integral] is the music distribution and services division of [PIAS] and operates in our offices around the world to develop, build and leverage local partnerships to increase exposure and avenues to market for the repertoire, labels and artists we work with.

The role:

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer with a dotted line to the Group IT Director, the Product Owner is responsible for what is effectively the storefront of our business – the [Integral] Gate. This key product is used both internally and by our customers as a means of making crucial tactical and strategic decisions. The role involves the full product lifecycle, from inception to strategic roadmap delivery. Candidates should be comfortable demonstrating the value of planned and delivered work as determined by the Strategic Systems Board (SSB).

Here you will access:
  • Execution
  • Own, prioritize and maintain product and delivery backlog including definition of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria to achieve product vision.
  • Work with the engineering team to help establish and reinforce disciplined software development processes and best practices.
  • Help select features, design and optimize [Integral] Portal to deliver maximum value.
  • Collaborate early and often with a cross-functional team of dev lead, UX designer, tech lead, SMB, developers and others to develop and execute agreed portal roadmap, product and project plans
  • Work with portfolio owner, SMBs, stakeholders and development teams to break down epic user stories into detailed stories consumable and testable by an agile team/technical team
  • Manage, prioritize and assess the impact of defects and impediments, including providing key insights into decisions to fix or defer
  • Review, accept and prioritize feedback and new requirements from key product and business stakeholders
  • Accept completed deliverables and evaluate delivered work against functional and non-functional requirements
  • Work with team members to ensure product functionality is properly documented, prioritized and sequenced
  • Help customer support teams develop and implement training and communications that enable partners and internal customers to better
  • understand the product and the changes that are being implemented
  • Participate in planning activities and proactively collaborate with business analysts to ensure alignment on dependent platforms
  • Obtain full alignment with the development lead on functionality and scope of execution
  • Identify and extend, in collaboration with business stakeholders, third-party sources of information to generate competitive advantage
  • Define and implement the communication strategy between customers, stakeholders and engineering
  • Execute prioritization and planning of deliverables
  • Own alignment of product backlog to strategic roadmaps and demonstrate the value of planned and delivered work on strategic roadmaps as determined by portfolio owner
  • Play a lead role in engaging business partners and various stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, hidden needs and expected results
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to delivery teams, represent/reinforce the customer perspective throughout the product realization cycle
Subject matter expertise
  • Act as [Integral] Portal subject matter expert
  • Demonstrate expertise in their respective field; keep abreast of trends in customer needs and expectations
  • Contribute to senior management’s strategic product roadmap by leveraging knowledge of product value stream and system interactions to identify when new features or product changes are needed to achieve optimal business results
Candidates will have
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent professional experience in large-scale product development
  • 5 years of experience leading process improvement teams or initiatives
  • Strong leadership and team skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize various elements of complex projects for people, tasks, communication, change, etc.
  • Ability to excel in a matrix environment
  • Attention to detail and focus on root cause analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through experience and results
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to lead meetings and make presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a servant leader to ensure successful product implementation and team effectiveness

  • An appreciation of international trade
  • French would be a plus
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Many years of experience in delivering revolutionary and disruptive solutions in rapidly changing industries.
  • Overall understanding of the technologies used on the product (Jira, Confluence, Matillion, Snowflake, Tableau, Low code development Ex.
  • Outsystems/Retool/Mendix etc.)
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner in an Agile transformation environment.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn on the job.
  • Ability to mentor and educate.
  • Experience with defining minimum marketable characteristics and minimum viable products.
  • Know how to define the product roadmap.
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills.
