With the increased adoption of data for business insights in our enterprise IT solutions and the increase in the amount of data across different business functions, the need for a Product Owner/Business Analyst to interface with business and data managers to speak both business and technical languages ​​is becoming increasingly necessary. vital in our corporate data center.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Interface with business stakeholders to understand requirements, document them and interact with data steward to provide insight into business requirements for solution design.
Explores data and discovers patterns, significant relationships, anomalies and trends
It is good to have prior knowledge of the CPG domain in order to document, understand, create KPIs and maintain them in a central repository. He/she should have subject matter knowledge on data and who to contact to find out what exists and what is missing in the data available in the hub.
Interacts regularly with the development and QA team to explain the requirements, business and data rules applied through the transformation and validate the test cases on delivery
Takes ownership of product delivery as defined by the company.
Able to understand data, relationship between tables and document transformation logic (source to target mapping) in great detail for developers to understand
Recommend use cases with the data available in the hub that will improve the current product in place and add value to the business.
Understands the current work and processes within the Data Hub and accordingly educates and aligns the business on expectations and timelines after consulting with the Program Manager and Data Architect
Interact with end user/stakeholder to understand data anomalies/issues and ability to identify root cause of anomalies/issues by querying data in database.
Interaction with the end user to understand the KPIs to be delivered, the layout of the KPIs on the dashboard and convey this requirement to the BI developer
Ability to identify the purpose of the project and, based on discussions with stakeholders, create user stories that flow back to the end goal (Epic).
Prioritization of user stories
Responsible for the products created, delivering the product model and communicating product needs with business partners
Work with other Product Owners to increase the effectiveness of applying Scrum in the organization
Inspires, leads, engages, coaches, develops and motivates a team of people/managers to deliver excellent business services.
Ensure that the Scrum values ​​of commitment, courage, focus, openness and respect are embodied within the Scrum team
Ensure that the Scrum team, Scrum Master and stakeholders understand the Scrum pillars of transparency, inspection and adaptation combined with an empirical process
Focus on aligning solution services with business goals and priorities while enabling a culture of service.
Develop and implement a globally aligned service management strategy and operating plan.
Financial planning, budgeting, cost and performance management for the end-to-end functional service area, including outsourced services.
Identify and pursue synergy opportunities by aligning technologies, tools and platforms.
Engage and build relationships within the Solutions function and with the business to ensure alignment, unlock value and unleash performance.
Continuously seek improvements in processes, products and technology within the team, function and company to continuously improve quality and customer satisfaction.
Manage the change process when improvements are implemented.
Define globally aligned service policies, procedures, standards tools and operating plans and ensure compliance.
Manage operational risk and controls by taking proactive measures when necessary.
Negotiate and manage SLAs/OLAs for the service area with regular analysis, review and reporting of actual performance against target to ensure service is delivered according to agreed performance measures (KPIs)
Adhere to the published governance model and communication plan ensuring they are implemented consistently across all business functions.
Review SLA/OLA targets and issue regular reports on service performance and accomplishments to the business and other key stakeholders
Develop and implement a globally aligned strategy and model for managing third-party vendors ensuring quality, performance and compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
Develop basic agreements with third parties and conduct regular contract compliance reviews, ensuring that any deficiencies are corrected
Maintain day-to-day accountability for ownership and resolution (including any referral or escalation as necessary) of Service Management issues that arise in relation to the Services (ITSM)
Support for the transition of new services from Solutions to Business
Create and maintain the catalog description of existing services offered in the service area
Ensure service availability, capacity and performance management are in place and executed

Requirements and skills

Level of education required: B.Tech, MCA, MSc, MTech, MBA
Previous work experience required
5-8 years of global experience with a focus on BI projects, reporting and automation.
3+ years of experience as a business analyst
Techno functional by nature who can get their hands dirty with data and understand data structuring and modeling.
Knowledge of the CPG domain is an added advantage.
Knowledge of processes in the CPG domain and business domain.
Well-articulated and structured communication skills are a mandate, as the person will play a pivotal role in communicating with companies around the world and the development team.
Keeps the pulse of the domain or industry by staying connected to diverse stakeholder groups.
Language skills required: English (Fluent)
