Objective of the role

Serve as a link between the company and its customers by managing the workflow and ensuring that all parties involved are informed and deliver on time. This role is the “face” of the company for customers.

Main responsibilities

Operational

• Stay on top of industry trends and competitors to ensure business relevance.
• Work on full accounts for our clients, with the ability to scale as the team and client portfolio grows
• Manage risks and develop risk management/contingency plans
• Anticipate problems before they arise and find ways to achieve project goals, regardless of changing circumstances
• Manage and control all project scope and planning within the team discipline team
• Understand and interpret customer business and project requirements
• Engage with the client to capture and understand their strategy, briefing and needs.
• Engage with relevant internal teams to communicate, unpack and brainstorm vision and customer needs.
• Manage project schedule, quality and budget and proactively intervene as needed.
• Manage the workflow and communication between the company and the client.
• Perform project post-mortems to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Stay up to date with all aspects of project progress and delivery.
• Write and submit proposals to clients.
• Prepare and organize status update meetings with clients.
• Coordinate logistics for video shoots as needed.

Marketing

• Establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with clients.
• Identify opportunities with current customers to grow the company’s business.

Financial

• Contribute to customer quotes.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in marketing, media, communication or relevant fields.
• Presentation skills.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, live streaming.
• Previous experience in client engagement and relationship building.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Project management.
