HGF Architects is looking for a knowledgeable, systematized and creative Architect to join our team.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, depending on the university attended
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience.
  • Requires a demonstrable ability to balance and handle multiple projects with confidence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under the direction of a manager.
  • Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and detail, and a commitment to producing excellent design within a team, along with the desire and ability to maintain a high level of personal accountability.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident or have a work visa to legally work in the US

What you will do (essential duties and responsibilities):

  • Develop construction plans that include accurate representations of structure and construction details.
  • Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs using computer-aided design; Revit, Building Information Modeling, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe, Photo Shop or other tools
  • Must be proficient in Revit with the ability to collaborate and coordinate across multiple Building Information Modeling (BMI) platforms.
  • Collaborate and meet with clients to understand their functional requirements and their vision of the structures.
  • Monitor the work of engineers, workers, interior designers and other parties involved in the project.
  • Perform periodic on-site observations of project design and monitor compliance with plan.
  • Prepare contracts with clients and construction companies.
  • Develop marketing materials, proposals or presentations to create new relationships and business opportunities.
  • Desire to continue personal growth and experience within the industry by continually learning new design elements.
  • Ability to stay positive and flexible while navigating multiple often overlapping schedules, software programs, change orders and group communications.
  • Have a clear understanding of the client’s needs and a proven ability to execute the project scope with budget and time restrictions.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
